Do induction lamps run cooler after a break in period?

It does not make sense that they would, but I fear I must ask anyway.

I had heard that PLLs burned hot when first used, but cooler after a week or so. I can't say I have had that experience with them however.

I just took out 144w of 3000k PLLs and replaced it with a 150w 2700k rectangular induction lamp. Both were remotely ballasted, but this induction lamp might just be too hot for my tent if something doesn't change soon. Might have to go back to my PLLs...

Thanks!
