Found this article and wondering what you experts think.

"Many Indica varieties begin to flower when the day length drops to about 13 1/2-14 hours, while Sativas will often not begin to flower until less than a 12 hour day length is achieved." www.cannabisculture.com "The Return of Ruderalis" by DMT 7/21/03

I've been doing 12-on and 12-off for both indica and stativas. Am I wong?

no, your fine.. what they are saying is that the exact amount of darkness needed to trigger a sativa or an indica may vary from each other.. the reason that most indoor growers go with the 12/12 is its been figured out years ago that this is the best all around amount of darkness needed to trigger flowering in all species of cannabis.. you can always cut the light down an hour per week till you see exactly what amount of darkness is needed to trigger flowering, but its a lot of work, which is why most peps just go with the 12/ 12..
