Do I qualify (Canada)

I need to ask a question of anybody in Canada who knows about getting med cards. One year ago I received a significant spinal injury (not a break just fragmented and bulged discs).

It causes me problems during the day but nothing terrible. At night I often take an anti-inflammatory (naproxin) or I can't sleep with the discomfort. Because it's hard on my stomach I now need to take a prescription anti-acid with it.

Marijuana eliminates my need to take these before bed and I generally sleep a good six hrs before I become uncomfortable. Might I qualify for a medical card in Canada? It's the only thing giving me a good nights sleep and keeping me productive. Thanks for any info!

Thanks for the reply. I'm in a pot friendly town so I imagine it's just looking around for a weed friendly doctor.

howdy,
your best route is to try to educate your current doctor to the benifits you have with marijuana. dr are usually not weed friendly but there are some out there that will listen to your claims and proof that mmj has its place in the medical world. also try ingesting your cannabis one of the biggest reasons dr dont like people using weed is that it is smoked ,this cant cause other health problems also in a medical use I find that cookie teas tincture last longer and are much stronger.
