Do I need to cure and dry CBD buds for making lotions.

I’m about to harvest some CBD Plus for making topical lotions. Question is do I need to dry and cure it first? Was thinking of going straight into the over at 245 F for 40 minutes then chop and into the crock pot with coconut oil. Is that okay or should I dry first? And do I need to cure as well?

No need to cure. I would dry fairly well before decarbing to keep from overdrying in the oven.
