That red/purple stem could be genetics or mag deficiency?i think,I'm not sure about the deficiency though maybe you could search the site for a definitive answer.

Okay u got me, I'm just desperate for some blue light. More lights are on the way though via ebay
(2 42 watt 6500k bulbs)
Why are these "splitters" a must when my plant is healthy?

Duh...2 bulbs are twice as good as 1:)More light emits off the sides of the bulbs.Right now with a small plant it's ok the way you got'em but when flowering starts you want all the cfls will give.

Thats almost like asking the teacher why do I gotta take the test..lol But splitters will give you double wattage and lumens. And its called strategy as a grower. The blue light special aint so special in the grow area unless youre doing a little tribute to Bob Marley..lol Thats not the the correct bulb for growing, I dont think. What we're trying to do is polish you up with wisdom and strategy for your future grows. And if youre asking why use splitters that means you havent been studying adamantly. Also again asking why the splitters when my plant is healthy is like saying i dont need water today because Im healthy from yesterdays water... Just trying to get you to understand wisdom. Your mentality should be: to do whatever it takes to make the plant healthier and more productive for yeild. Also I learned by instinct to learn all i can in the first grow to do better for my second grow and each grow should get better and better. Now that you have just the one plant hopefully its female, is to invest a lot of energy in it and make sure the soil is aaalllll gooood. My middle plant took over and theyre all same strain with different traits... I started them off under cfls and splitters... 500watts... 8 weeks old 7 veg 1 flower.IMG_20150416_174906.jpg IMG_20150416_174944.jpg IMG_20150416_174952.jpg IMG_20150416_174910.jpg IMG_20150416_174921.jpg IMG_20150416_174931.jpg

Sup guys, back again with a little update, also need your guys help. So its week 3 day 3 from seed now and she looks beautiful in my opinion. And I've officially upgraded from a grow box to a grow room kind of. Recently topped her and growth slowed down a little. She's still growing but usually I see dramatic Change every 2 days or so. The new shoots also looks like they are growing straight up instead of up and out like they normally do. Does this mean I need more lighting? Shoots still might grow outwards, could be to young to tell, idk. Just asking for all of your expertise.

Note: Please no comments on the splitters!! I get it & I'll get it soon!! happy belated 420! Lol

Youre lighting for now is ok. But three things: #Better control on your temp. #Water Usage is a little much. #Nute usage a little much. Let her dry out for a couple days. She'll perk up more as the root get oxgen more. But understand your symtoms: #Drooping. #Folding upwards of leaves. #Curling downward of leaf tips. 1. Over watered
2. Nutes Warm
3. Heat stress.

Be gentle in these areas... Nice attitude and nice plant. Also you need air flow... And a temp /humidity monitor.

I just noticed your bottom leaves are turning yellow. Not good. You dont have good drainage. Not enough perlite. I would do a miny flush you know like a few gallons to rinse salt build up and dilute nutes some. Im not going to say flush because your soil would compact do to a lack perlite. But id slow pour using like a well clean dish liquid bottle or a bottle with little nozel so you wont turn your soil into mud.

I used Vigoro organic potting soil . Seemed okay at first, takes a few minutes to come out the bottom now. Watered it one day, next day soil was hard and dry and she looked like this. Even though this a test run I'm freaking out! She still my baby. I water soon as soil gets hard and dry Which is everyday now. Not much foliage feeding cause I used 2 do that frequently (just water), and worried that could be or add 2 the problem. I added a third and bigger fan sucking stale air out with the others facing her. also never used those nutes yet guys. Well I actually wet the teaspoon and coated it with it once. It wasn't alot. And It got burnt a little anyway, so never did it again. That was a week ago. Is it possible I need it now? Just wanted to give u guys more info before you advise me on what she needs.
