Do i have this right?

ok. a Feminized S1 seed is a female plant that was forced to hermie (stress, chemical, etc) and knocked itself up.

now...id like to know what the seeds will be once they are grown out? im aware they will be feminized seeds as x+x = xx (female)...not xy (male)...but obviously the result will not be F1 seeds (a crossing of two different plants from two different genetic lines)..they will be S1...so wouldnt the plants that grow from those seeds be pretty much identical? almost like a clone in seed form? in other words wouldnt all the seeds be exactly the same or extremely close to the plant they were selfed from?

or do i have it wrong?

I would head over to the advanced cultivation forum and read sticky's seed production tutorial. i'm not much on breeding specifics but i have gotten fem seeds from using a hermie to polinate my female. maybe it was by chance idk.

yes they will be similar to the hermie, so dont grow them or u will go ona continuous cycle of hermie growing.

Im not conerned with the method i intend to use in order to get the females to produce pollen as i dont intend of stressing them to hermie...i intend on using silver.

from what i understand i dont want to use a female plant that naturally hermies or does so under stress...i want one infact that is resistant to going hermie under stress and forcing it to with CS.

CS wont allow the hermie trait to pass on. infact cs doesnt effect the genetic makeup of the plant/strain. all/most cannabis strains are likely to have a hermie trait...

if i have a stable female that stays 100% female under however much stress i dish out (ie. light stress, heat stress, ph stress, nute burning, etc.) and treat it with CS it wont make the resulting seeds more likely to go hermie. thats a myth. if i achieved the nanners by stress then i wouldnt want to use that specific plant as its likely to hermie in the future.

i fully understand what selfing is...i just never got clarification as to what the resulting seeds would produce when grown out. naturally id assume its going to be a "clone" of the plant that was selfed only in seed form especially considering both the "male" and female parent is the the same 1 plant...so my first instinct tells me there couldnt be too much variation but i'd like someone to let me know if thats true or if i could have several different phenos.

my goal this time around (more than likely if money/space allows it) is to self a female to produce S1 seeds of that strain (which im assuming will be extremely close if not 100% exactly like the mother it came from) and also use some of the pollen from the plant im selfing to pollinate a different strain (also feminized) to produce a feminized f1 hybrid.
