Do grinders damage seed?

Logic would tell me yes, there's a good chance of my grinder damaging seed. I don't have any seeded bud to try it on though. I plan to grow out some seed and was thinking my grinder would be a nice way to separate it :) theres always the old fashioned way, but I'm looking for easier you know! Thanks for any experience

I should add its the little twisty hand grinder, I think if I went gentle with it I might not destroy my seed

sometimes yes, sometimes no. if it's a 3 stage grinder there's more of a chance it will stay intact because it might just drop through the hole. standard grinders do crush up the seeds. i just roll it up and smoke it anyway. no sense picking out microscopic pieces of seed.

if you're trying to save the seeds why not just pick them out before grinding?

Speed man speed! If you take them out by hand there's no need to grind really. I haven't picked seeds in 20 years is all :)

if you are taking about getting a few seeds out of dank weed, a grinder normally won't damage a good seed. normally.... lol

If speed is your thing, why waste time with a grinder. just get your sledge hammer out and smash your bud. Thats a huge timesaver.

Seriously I've picked my fair share of seeds from dirty Mexican brick weed. Sure I can find out for myself soon enough, but thought I'd ask in the meantime!
