Title says it all, if RH in the air is less than the RH of the carbon it should remove RH from the air right?

No. A carbon filter should not be used to dehumidify. The moisture will cause the filter to stop removing odors and prematurely kill your filter. Good luck

idk if its too low but my Flower room stays at 16% RH with my filter's fan on LOW and when i water or spray it goes up to maybe 35% but always goes down to 16.

Your filter doesn't remove humidity...the fan sucking the air out does.....and fyi really high humidity will make your carbon filter not work as intended.....

sounds like you need a humidifier or on the cheap you can get a small tub of water 1gal or smaller will be ok more surface area the better and put it in front of a fan. as the fan blows across the water it will slightly raise the humidity

well... just to answer your simple question of "do carbon filters remove humidity"... and the answer is... yes.. carbon filters do remove SOME humidity...

more complicatedly though... it depends on the amount of moisture that is already in the air and the cfm air recycling power of your fan and how much "wet air" is being pushed or pulled either way into your carbon filter...

obviously the higher increase of air exchanged in the filter... you will have the effect of that much greater decrease in humidity...

Do you live in the desert
I live in the Mojave Desert and my humidity is always under 20% except this year that I switched to LEDs LOL. I've been running a dehumi this year! Carbon filters will pick up moisture. It will impair their filtering ability so they benefit from being dried out. We saw it a lot with the ventilators we used in the OR. We had to change out and dry the moistened charcoal. It's so dry here I usually just put mine out in the summer sun for a day or so in the summer, refreshing it for the next year.
