well... just to answer your simple question of "do carbon filters remove humidity"... and the answer is... yes.. carbon filters do remove SOME humidity...Title says it all, if RH in the air is less than the RH of the carbon it should remove RH from the air right?
Do you live in the desertidk if its too low but my Flower room stays at 16% RH with my filter's fan on LOW and when i water or spray it goes up to maybe 35% but always goes down to 16.
That was almost 12 years ago, and the user hasn’t logged in since 2015. Sorry, but I don’t think you’re going to get an answer from them.Do you live in the desert
I live in the Mojave Desert and my humidity is always under 20% except this year that I switched to LEDs LOL. I've been running a dehumi this year! Carbon filters will pick up moisture. It will impair their filtering ability so they benefit from being dried out. We saw it a lot with the ventilators we used in the OR. We had to change out and dry the moistened charcoal. It's so dry here I usually just put mine out in the summer sun for a day or so in the summer, refreshing it for the next year.Do you live in the desert
