Do Buds increase much in size after all is cloudy and few amber?

I am between week 9 and 10 of flower
Bagseed Thai and a bagseed sativa hybrid both growing in a small tent about 340 of real watts of cfl's in FFHF Soil
Fed lightly every watering alternating FF Big Bloom and DR. Earth's Flower Girl
Most hairs have colored and curled in.
I watched the trichomes all go cloudy in the last week with a few random transparent amber.

My question is should I expect to see buds get much bigger at measurable rate or is growth of buds slowed greatly at this point?

I assume they continue to grow but potency starts to decline as well as other problems with mold etc.

Is this the point where you judge when to finish based solely on ripeness of trichomes?2016-10-11 09.54.53.jpg 2016-10-11 09.55.02.jpg

If you are at all milky trichomes with a smattering of amber , regardless the size of plant or bud you are done my friend season over. If you let it go the buds will not swell or tighten but may actually start to get airy and all your trichomes will amber up wich is an indicator that your thc has degraded into other compounds and your flower is overripe. Let it go longer and you will most likely see male flowers popping out here and there also wich is another sign that its overripe. Its a race against time literally and the trichomes are your indicators.

Ok thanks Jimmy that helps
I guess should have preempted the question that I am not asking when to chop or when they are done
I wanted to word them as far away from any thing like "are they done" or "how much will I get"
Not looking for someone else to determine things for me but rather to see if I am on track with my education vs. others that have previous experience so I can determine things myself. I know what I want them to look like as far as that goes, just wanted to know if weight gain is done or near done. I posted the pics to show size I know glands can not be seen in a pic like that.
Thanks

Above is 100% perfect explanation of when to chop, don't try n wait past the all milky stage with 5% or so amber.

If you posted that stoner expertise with a few shots of expert grown sativa flowers i might not say youre a jack ass. But i also know you;re a racist asshole so i'm guessing gas bag idiot is your thing.
.

Bro can you post trichome shots. Straight thai sativa go up to 20 weeks flowering. Hybrids that 50/50 can easily go past 10-11 weeks.
What is your light timing and temps? Also you been continuing with food through flower?

knowing this changes my response, you can push the plants to keep bulking up past maturity by keeping the N flowing past maturation,it works best with strains where buds exhibit more chunky calxys vs pistil hairs,I've power feed white rhino & the widow strains chunky buds 900 ppm past my 8 week harvest schedule on hash runs quite a few times,I've let them go past 10 weeks & into near 60% amber trichs, the buds will linger about a week then push out abnormal growth out of the main colas, once that abnormal growth pops out the buds will pack on huge chunks of calyxs all over, these new forced calyxs will add 10%-15% in bud weight but the buds look all lumpy & shitty, the hash runs I pushed plants & forced a 2nd bud growth explosion I would have had to cut the huge chunks of calyxs off ,then reshape the buds & make them look OK .

Still you run the risk of a plant going Hermie & popping nanners but you can let them ride & force a 2nd growth explosion of calyxs.

You got a ways to go. Some plants will amber early. Different types of amber to. Translucent amber, keep growing. Dark red amber, chop.

Don't go by any one thing to chop. Look at the whole pic. Are the pistils receded? Calyxes swelled yet? Take samples for amber from multiple sources. The buds not leaves. Cut a calyx and look under a scope.

Those don't look done. 10-14 days more.

When you think its done, wait a week then chop.

Ditto.

My bad. I should've added that to my post.

Sativas can be tricky. They can kind of sit and you think they are done and then grow some more. Some pure long flowering sativas can kind of just keep going. Fox tails or constant new growth with white pistils.
