DNA Pure Afghan ----> DWC PC Case

ok well this is my 3 grow in this case and i got some DNA genetics Pure Afghan going. i started 2 beans, they both cracked and i put them in plugs. one popped out of the plug on sunday and one died becuz the rooter plug got too try. so i started another bean, which also cracked, and put that in the plug. it popped out of the plug earlier today.

so as for DNA, 3 out of 3 popped so im pretty happy so far. i hope i get a female. and if i get a male ill take some pollen for some future breeding.

im running AN nutes and (2) 42 watt 2700k lights. (only got one if for the time being)

Awesome set up Spoon! quick question, how high do you keep your water level in the resevoir? ive heard if you have it to high up it can cause algea growth and you have the same mini DWC set up as im doing! thanks spoon for any advice
 
thanks alot man! i didnt hear having it too high could cause algae growth... but i do no it would prolly over water the plant. i kno ull get algae if light can get to the water, so make sure u use foil tape or somethin like that.

and i just fill it up to about were the red line is.

well this is my 3rd grow in hydro, my first grow was in soil.

im vegging this one for a couple of weeks, then im going to top them and lst. i was gonna do 12/12 from seed but i thought it would b better to give them atleast a little veg time. hopefully this one wont outgrow my case like my last grow lol... f*cking sativas haha

and temps vary, with lights off its like 68-72 and lights on its like 78-84ish... but its really not that hot cuz the lights i think my gauge picks up alot of the heat off of my air pump
 
What size is you buckets and how much water in them, also, do you have air stoone in there?

Do you check ph and ec?

i dont no wat size bucket it is, i got it at walmart it was over by all the other totes and shit. its meant for like holding shoes/storage u no.

yes i have an airstone, also bought it at walmart in the fish section. i put about 3/4 gallon in there and i check the ph everyday

I always prefer a few weeks veg time
it gives me a chance to see what my plants gonna do if its strecthing faster in between nodes then i was hoping for im gonna tie it down every chance i get, maybe even a few weeks into flowering depending on that 2-3 week strecth when 12/12 hits sativas can be pretty difficult in those small boxes haha


temps seem nice considering any DIY co2?

yea i no ill never grow a sativa in there again, unless i do my DNA lemon skunk :bigjoint:

haha im not trying to make u feel bad i just dont no how this is gonna turn out, but i hear alot of good things about DNA so it should b good... hopefully its some fire cuz i wanna cross this with my buddys MK ultra

that was a nice grow u had man, looked good as hell... but u really should try the hydro set up. and i think ud b better off without autos IMO

i bought lowlife AK for my case and havent come around to growing it yet, its cheaper to do 12/12 for 2 months the 18/6 for 2 months
 
im loving the set up Spoon i read that grow journal with help from trunk5 and it turned out great! its crazy cause i think we r gonna have the SAME exact DWC set-up!:bigjoint: the only diff. is i went with the smaller netty pots! the guy at the hydro store was warning me about algea and water levels and he said to keep the water about an 1" or 2" from the bottom of the netty pot! but could be wrong he def. couldnt argue with your results!!!:lol: good luck on the grow and i will def. b along for the ride!:leaf:
