DIY water farm system

I used a Waterfarm for a couple of years, it was a total pain in the ass. The system in the link is ebb & flow. Warfarm is drip and DWC later on when the roots grow into the bucket. The new Waterfarm 8 pack runs about $300. By the time you figure out how to DIY you will have spent more than that and be pulling your hair out trying to get it to work right.
Just my opinion.

My first grow was using the Waterfarm I had good results but it was a right royal pain in the ass.. wouldn't recommend them but hey ..it was my 1st grow...have been doing DWC and Autopots since.. Here is a good DIY 'Aeroponic' system that is easier to follow than a Roman road:

That is similar to the system i am using now but i want to give more space to some of my plants. The waterfarm seems like the best option without spending the tone of money and time i have tied up in my other sections of my grow room.

Well I decided to do a diy system using some of the pieces premade like the waterfarm plumbing kit. So I will build the system for 12 plants and let everyone know whether buying or building is cheaper. :bigjoint:

Buying the plumbing is a good idea, I can't imagine making that yourself and having it work right the first time. Here's a problem you will eventually run into. Calcium builds up at the lower end of the air tube and the water stops bubbling up.You have to clean it out occasionally.

I second that..
