i just found this article of how to make ur own ph indicator with red caabbage
i havent tryed this myself but i hope someone get any use of it
its pretty awesome and looks pretty easy to

Cool, or you can get PH test strips, or ph test solution for $5, about the costs of the supplies of the cabbage and other stuff.

But a good find to add to the DIY section none the less.

agreed, But Definitely a cost efficient way for someone who already grows red cabbage for food. Than again the shelf life wouldn't be much i would assume... i'll have to check out the article myself.

NVM, I didn't realize it was soaked in the juices, had a Diff concept in my head when i Saw this, I Retract My Previous Statement, *Thumbs* for a Good Article!
