DIY Peristaltic Metering Pump

Just whipped up a DIY peristaltic pump for expanding my automation setup & I thought I'd post some pics in case anyone gets a kick out of this kinda stuff. Electronics consist of an Arduino, small stepper motor, and an Easy Driver v4 stepper driver on controller duty. The Stepper/Driver/Pump will actually integrate into my existing system, but its running off a PC PSU (+5v & +12v) for the moment.

The design is pretty straightforward. The pump disc is the leftover circle cut from the piece that contains the hole. The latex tube, nylon rollers, and screws are all a couple of bucks form H Depot. I haven't measured the actual output volume yet, but it will be fully configurable via programming the stepper logic. Anyone who is interested; I highly recommend this project as it was a piece of cake and works exceptionally well. Also, based on my observations, i believe this type of a pump could be scaled up to provide some serious pressure. In it's current form it can pump 3+ Ft. head no problem (thats as long as the tube could reach).
