have a Meanwell HLG-600H-48A driver I'm trying to hook up to.4 QB288 boards. They have an extra lead I have no idea what to do with and can't get it working. Please help. I will post pics. The drivers I've used before only have one positive and negative lead but this driver has two.
That driver runs the boards in a parallel circuit @48vdc at a max of 12.5A current. They provide 2 output leads because the output amperage should be split on the two leads so it doesn't overload a single conductor. You should connect 2 of the boards to each lead. The + lead is connected to the + input of each board and the - lead is connected to the - input of each board.

They are HLG boards I got them from HLG I just bought the driver seperately and got the wrong one.
Oofff...sorry for your error.
Alot of people are buying chinese knockoff boards that call them Quantumboards, but they operate at different voltage because of the differences in the diodes used and the internal circuitry.

Just wanna get some advise before I order anything, i'm looking at ordering parts for a strips light for a 2x4 tent. I think i'm gonna use 10 2 foot bridgelux vesta strips mounted 2 end to end in rows of 5, so i should have about a 2x4 light panel. I've heard its best to go with a parallel wiring setup so I think i'm gonna use a Mean Well HLG-320H-24B Driver which is a CC driver with max 25 volts, pushes over 13 Amps (3 more than I need) and a max of 320 watts which should be about 80 more than i need. does anyone run a similar setup? would it be easier to run the rows of 2 in series and use a higher voltage CC driver? or maybe 2 smaller drivers? also, will the 10 3000 lumen strips be good enough for veg and flower? I know it should be enough watts for the area but should i maybe substitute a few white strips for some color or higher lumen ones?

You might want the A version driver since you can adjust the voltage up to 26v with the internal screw.
At 1.3amps per strip the forward voltage would be fractionally over 25.

@Rocket Soul knows these strips better than me, second opinion?

I rec: run every strip at 20w max, that way you stay under 25V and thermals are very manageable. Also good for efficiency. Use 2 strips per heatsink in series and use a 48A driver instead of 24V, the connections get much easier. For that space we used a 240 driver with great results. Make sure you wire the 2 channels in separate parallel channels so you can use either WW, CW or both which works out like 4000k 90cri (great veg spectrum)

Im sure he does. I asked him on his own facebook page approx 4 weeks ago. He has answered other questions in that time and followed up my question by asking me if i needed waterproof or not...I answered this about 3 weeks ago and nothing since lol.
I get he is super busy so that's why i asked on here.
BTW can I also add the other side of the coin. I live in the UK and welight and co had my stuff shipped from aus to uk within 2 weeks or ordering...super happy with the delivery and service.

So its 12x far reds @2.4v?

You could look at meanwell APC-25-700

Or look here for something that matches better

if you running it as single channel ie 12 leds then you will be at around 28Volts and at 700ma around 20 watts. So a 25 to 40 watt driver would be perfect if your running on a separate circuit.
ESP040W-0900-42 from Digikey is a nice solution
or something similar, the APC mentioned is also a lower cost solution

I have 2 qb288 v1 boards and a hlg-320h-c2100b driver. One of the boards has a piece of wire stuck in one of the negative connectors that broke off due to someone not being careful. Could I wire these in series on the one driver and just not use the negative with the piece stuck? It's a small piece that I can't get to (posted in another thread for help with that). Is it even ok to wire these in series with this driver?

Your driver is a constant current driver I believe which means it's meant to be wired in series. You should be able to use the positive terminal on the side with the negative terminal broken, and the negative terminal on the opposite side of the board

Hey guys, need some help wiring my newly arrived Photoboost strips. Im not too savvy in the electronics world, so I'm not really sure what equates to running the strips at 1400 ma vs. 1900 ma would do for me. In the greengenes youtube vid, he uses a Meanwell HLG320h-c1400 for a 2x2 set up (8 strips), I have 16 strips and want to build a 4x4 set up, would I use two of these drivers?
