Think he meant parts for how to build your own from a home improvement store. Not parts you need to build your own space station. What would be the advantage to piecing together every component?

America based. Fast response and shipping. Message him and he’ll put together a complete kit for your area. He’s straight forward with quality leds. Way cheaper than Mars hydro/ spider farmer

I don't understand this post...
He says he wants to build a led light, the websites I recommend are the best places to buy boards, strips, and drivers. I have done my research. What do you suggest ?

The main advantage of buying your own boards(strips) and drivers is that you can design a led lamp that has the ideal footprint and wattage for your grow space.

You’re losing out on efficiency/yield. Reflective walls act almost as another light source for your plants. Lights are nice looking though, I dig the wire management.
Of course you lose some efficiency because you lose some light. I do use a tent but Its definitely not needed and in some cases growing without a tent can be better, you can move things around better and have better access to the plants.

There are a lot of benefits to growing without a tent, and the light spread of my light rig is easily 5'x5'
