So do you think someone would post the final build?
I mean parts list for this DIY light with the far reds and uv as you guys have been discussing?

Or should I just go with the bare vero 18s ?

Any idea of what your Vero 18s efficiency is in these lights?

What about lumen and par output?

And Lumen/Watt?

I am really making efforts to keep updates but it is tough these days. Im posting the few pics of my pre98 bubba that got chopped from the led tent. originally posted in the 600

Sorry for the big pics. couldn't re size this time.

The mk ultra, pre98 bubba. are the two big ones cut out. Then I took the dog, blue dream, and shark shock which were all smaller. No pics of these but you can see the gaps. two Cherry pie to cut and a deep psychosis. I did let them dry out once too much.... shit happens when your dealing with a bit much. all nugs make thunk sounds on my table. :-)

final yield was 268g. 500w of led. about .5g per watt.

That was in a flat 2x4 scrog.

I have put the bars in a 4x4 tent and will see if I can double my number with just doubling the space.

I will build a flower initiator too very soon.

for the record I think space was a limiting factor with yield and that beyond 35w per sq ft is just a waste. IMO.. LOL

Take care all. LED do work. This was a good yield for me. my best with a 600w hps was 12 or 13 oz. I always run different strains so yield is never as high for me. but I got variety! LOL

trying to find a bunch of varieties that yield well and are fire is like
searching for a needle in a football field of hay. the bubba will yield,
but you gotta veg her forever so that it amounts to anything. what
is your MK pheno like? we were getting some FIRE mk from norcal
5 or 6 years ago, tasted cat pissy and was knock down drag out
indica that would have you drooling before the end of the bowl.

would have been interesting to see what you yielded if you would
have been closer to the 35w/sq ft. can't wait to see how the 4x4
pans out.

It was a great grow and beautifully maintained...but they were little fellows no matter how you spin it. That was the name of the game for you, and you pulled it off perfectc. But imagine the same canopy but 2-3ft tall plants/buds of 10inches...that is how you take your run to 1.3g/w imo. And specially when using that much wattage in the space...the extra wattage will have more return if it has depth of plants to be used on and penetrate...otherwise like you said, well past point of diminishing returns.

But in a 4x4 is pretty close to perfect. Take 2 should be fun!

THanks GG. I appreciate it and I totally agree with strategy change affecting yield. I feel the 2x4 was overcrowded and I could have pulled all the stuff underneath off. But hey... This is all just hobby for me. I have FUN with it...(lots and lots of super high fun..LOL). Sometimes I have perfect grows... other times less perfect... I feel the 4x4 tent will pay off. Plus I am just growing normal this time. No screen just some canopy control. Been a long time since no screen indoors.

Me neither!

I've been studying what I'll be doing for my next grow, and I'll be taking a page out of this ideam for sure.

I love that we can actually SEE how much nute solution is still in the Hempy reservoir!
