materials....
old cell phone charger
2 pc fans
rubber made 10gal container
ducttape
wire hangers
And yes i plan on cleaning the fans befor i start actually using it
I have a couple questions if anyone can help
1.Are the drill holes big enough to pull air into the box?
2. Are the fans going to be strong enough
thanks:weed:

looks good, only one thing. the computer fans run on 12v and your using a cell phone charger which provides probably 6v, you've got two 12v fans on one 6v power source so they wont be running full speed. it might still provide sufficient air flow but it could be better. if you've got an old set of computer speakers the power cord from those provide 12v

haha I used to build those all the time same exact box and everything...
tell you the truth i thought you were showing one i built with modifications lol..
put the holes in the lid only.... a lot of holes . air-->lid-->bud-->out fan..
(be careful as can dry to quick and your left with hay)

You can fit more bud if you make drying racks with window screen making material.. it comes out to about $20 or so dollars.
12 screws to hold up the screens and the buds can be piled on the racks.. i would 86 one fan, I only ever used one.. it contributes to the hay smell.
when you turn it on the lid will suck to the box.. (lol i used to sell these on craigslist with a carbon filter for a bill a pop)

nicely done the only thing i dont like is laying the nugs on thier side dry. Its my understanding that you will have better results if you hang the nugs upside down which forces the sugars into the buds?

The rule of thumb for inlet holes if you have fans is at least double the outlet, otherwise you get a negative air pressure.

Ex. if you have 2 3" holes with fans for outlets, then you need 4 3" holes, or 2 6", holes for inlets.

You can even have one 12" hole. lol

I'm sure you get the point by now.

This is general heating and air conditioning rules at least, but ALWAYS have a filter for your inlets, especially in a dry box.

No one wants hair, dust, and whatever else in their weed!

Hope this helps! Great DIY project!
