hahaha thanks man, nice piece by the way i love trippy pieces, i plan on havin a collection of shit once im older
Me too. I think I'm going to buy a new peice this weekend as celebration. My harvest peice. All the peices I have now are 'for' something. I have an engagement peice, a wedding peice, anniversary, 2nd anniversary... my wife is seriously the best (they are all gifts). And she doesn't even smoke.

So I'm embarrased to show you guys, but promised someone (i forget who) that I would put this pic up. Whoever you are, you better enjoy these because I would rather keep them to myself. Full disclosure is hard sometimes.

I wish they could have been bigger and whiter (nothing racial, haha).

The last two pics are of my Hindu Skunk with the most branches and the White Widow which had the least. Interesting to see how different the two strains grew, even in the exact same place and conditions.

I really have enjoyed growing these wonderful plants. Definitely trying at times, but very rewarding to see something flourish under my watch (along with your guys' help).

Thanks again.

I forgot... I cut up the 5th and final Hindu Skunk last night after I cut the 4th one. The last Hindu Skunk was the plant I called Plant #6 throughout the grow. Depending on what the White Widow does, this was my biggest plant.

She had the biggest and I think best looking buds. Maybe a tiny bit wet, so I could lose a few grams, but final weight was 76.5 g. That's pretty much 2 and 3/4 oz.

Bringing the cumulative total to 264 grams. Or about 9 and 1/2 oz.

If I want to hit .5 g/w I'll need 61 g, a little over 2 oz. from the White Widow. That's good.

2 and 1/2 oz would get me a cool 3/4 pound total. That would also bring the average yeild to 2 oz/ plant. Not bad at all.

I may not have reached the towering heights I was aiming for at the beginning, but I am under no illusions that this was a failure. Quite the opposite. I feel like a great sucess, even with the short-comings. It's pretty much all in the jar, nothing else to go wrong (as long as no one breaks into my house and steals it).

I'll take pictures of all of it together soon.

jig,

I hope you are burping your jars aily for a month.

I save a large piece of my stem or the trunk of the plant, after I harvest. IF I notice a jar is too dry, I can add a two inch lenght of stem to the jar for one day, and it re-moistens it just a little.

I have been burbing them daily. And I think I'm good on the moisture, because I left them a tiny bit wet (not bone dry) before the cure. It's so wild to smell them as they seem to get better each and every day.

I've been leaving the jars open for about 5 minutes a day, and I roll everything around so it sorta loosens up again.

I don't have any old stem that's not dry, but if things got too dry I could use a small leaf from the plant growing now? or would that risk mold. I read last night someone mention using a peice of paper towel that has been wrung out and use a BB size peice.

I really see how patience pays off even after the grow. I've been drying my plants really slowly and I think I can tell how that has made them feel differently than if I had dried them quicker (i hope that makes sense).

Thanks for the advise. :blsmoke:

...but it's not. I'm really sad to have just read that Billy Mays (the guy with a dark beard who yells in infomercials all the time) has died. I know he had a little girl, and it's sad to think she won't have a dad. Even if he yelled all the time.

I've smoked a few for MJ over the past few days, I'm sure some of you have to. Let's smoke one for the OxiClean guy.

Good to see you Josh

TL... your link don't work, you big tease. I think you meant this:

https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/207883-lemons-first-grow.html

I'll be there and I'm sure some of our friends will too.

I chopped and jarred the White Widow yesterday. And there are a few things I've noticed. 1. The WW is WAAAAAYYYYYY more dense than the Hindu Skunk. 2. The WW stinks WAAAAAAYYYYYY more than the Hindu Skunk. 3. Tthe WW looks 10 times nastier (in a good way) and meaner now that it has dried. 4. If the WW has effects that match it's appearence it will be super killer.

I ended up with 51 grams of WW. She only takes up about half of one big jar, where as the Hindu Skunk takes up pretty much the whole jar for the same weight. The main bud is truly 'dense'. Not THE hardest pot I've ever seen, but definitely close.

Man the smell is just nuts. When you sample the smell of the HS and the WW next to each other, it seems as if the HS doens't smell at all. It's seriously funky.

Here's some pics of my cats and my jars. Just add my wife in there and you have the loves of my life (ok, all I really care about are the wife and the cats... I just like mj a lot).

FYI: The harvest pics are only of the 5 Hindu Skunk plants. The white widow has yet to be pictured in a jar.

Good job to the DJ! I haven't heard anything from him lately its weird.

So I chopped all 12 of those little tiny lollies and got 61 grams dry. Not bad for a freak experiment! :-)

I started flushing my 11 full sized girls 3 days ago! My journal is SO behind.

Good work on that. Were those little ones the same strain as before? I forget.

I'm hoping I can get 61 g from my 4 Purple Kushs in the closet now. Do you (or anyone) have an idea what I can expect with the light changes?

I don't mean yeild numbers, but if you flower plants under 60w for 4 weeks then under 650w for 4 weeks, do you get much good from the 650? Did I set my plants up to be tiny with the flouros and now I'm just wasting electicity.

I'm sure no one really knows becuase why on earth would you do that on purpose?

I can somewhat directly speak on this.

I was flowering under WAY more CFL's though. When I did throw them under the 1000 watt, they did bulk up accordingly.

However, I grow in soil, and the strain was different. So I can't say for sure.

As I was typing that I was thinking of your 1000w. But in my memory you were replacing a 400w hid or something.

Anyhow... I will be optimistic that the light will get things hefty a bit.

They look better already, but I feel like that is mostly in my head. I guess I should take some pics as they usually don't lie.

So I have finally bought myself a grinder for my pot. I have never in my life used one... only been around a couple people who have and they didn't use it much. The reason I never liked them before is I felt like they wasted a tiny amount of bud, and I didn't like losing that little bit. I also felt like a lot of the crystals come off in it and they are just in the grinder, again lost.

Well, now that I have quite a quantity I have changed my attitude about wasting the tiniest amount of pot. So I went to the local smoke shop and just my luck they had the nicest grinders you've ever seen (at least I've ever seen). All the ones I've seen before were ceramic I guess and were just two pieces you took apart put bud in grinded it and had to dump it out to get at it. I have seen the same thing in metal, but never used one.

My grinder has 4 parts, a magnet, and a screen. You take off the top, put in the bud, grind it, it falls into the next compartment where it is kinds stored, it sits on a screen... you can shake the whole thing a bit to get some keif collected in the bottom compartment. The top 'grinder' part is connected/ held on by a magnet. The other two connections are threaded, so you don't lose any grinded bud, or keif if you accidently drop it or something.

Cost my $12. Not bad, and I even supported small business. I guess there are no corporate smoke shops, but it was in my neighborhood.

I really love the smoke from nicely ground mj compared to how I ripped it up before. And I really wish I would have had my grinder when I made my blunt. At least I have it for next time. :bigjoint:
