Diy cloner help

When building a cloner how far away do you want the mister to be from the end of the clones?

You could do a bubble cloner for less than $20

Yes. I made one a while ago. Works better than the 2 store bought one's.

I need to remake it. The sprayers i got just arnt working like i want it to. Its ok only spent 8$. Still got plenty of pvc to make another

Alright this time i took a little more time on the design...

I ordered actual ez clone mistera too. Only 12$ for 30 on amazon... Also ordered 2 inch net pots and plugs off amazon. 10$ for 25. They are coming tomorrow but for now i put together the pump and pcv.

Its 12 gallons


3/4 pvc i had laying around. And fittings cost me 2$ at home depot and an old water pump i had laying around


Tommorw i will get the misters and pots.

I use an ultrasonic fogger, about $10 on Amazon, I just use plain water to get roots and don't need to worry about clogged sprayers

You should invest in foam collars?

The idea is to supply the root zone with a mixture of water and nutrients and air. A fine mist is best and if you don't suffocate the roots with too much moisture you'll be rewarded with phenomenal growth.

Dang that looks way simple compared to the water pump.
So that thing just turns water into fog? I will do some reasearch on it. Its not like i cant return the misters.

I just read the description and it says to not use it more then 10 hours a day? Do you put it on a timer?

My water is not deep enough in that cloner.

I run it on a timer 15 minutes on 15 off when my lights are on and it is off when they are off. I have run them 24 hours straight without a problem. In about 10-15 days I usually have roots out the bottom of the cup (as you can see I am real cheap with my cups) I do mix about 1/2 expanded clay and 1/2 coir in them. and run them for a day or two before adding the cutting.

He was talkign to me I think. if the water is too deep it wont make fog so they sell a float for it so you can have a lot of water
