Our beloved plant needs root oxygen to survive and thrive----but just how much is adequate?-----and what is the point of dimishing return?
Back in the mid 90s I scored a DO meter to find out for myself.
Here's what I found:
6.0 ppm was adequate for plants to thrive---- It went as low as 5.0 ppm with no noticeable difference of plant health. I believe bubbling, circulating, spraying or any other method doesn't matter much as long as the nutes are cool and moving. I've had many crops that ran in the hig 70s nute temp.
Here's some shots to judge for yourself,
