Disposing of pruned leaves stealth

I live in an apartment building and was going to throw my pruned leaves and stems in a triple wrapped black garbage bag so no one can see what's in them. The only problem I can think of is the smell coming from the bags after I throw it in the dumpster. Anyone have any advice on how they dispose of their stems and leaves? Maybe I could wrap a rubber band around the top of the bag really tight so no one can smell it.

Usinng someone elses garbage is a quick way for anyone that notices you dont own that trash can to get suspicious. Personally I put mine in a small grocery bag, and if I go to a store like walmart / target / mcdonalds etc I use there garbage out front. Obviously you cant be taking 15 gallon trash bags there, but grocery bag size no issues.

Always the risk of having it with you GOING to that trash can though

Throw them away like anything else and be done with it. Don't put any 3ft stems in there to rip threw the bag while you're carrying it. I drove a trash truck for years, nobody's gonna smell leaves when they're dumping that can, i promise you that.

This is where having a bunch of 4 legged critters around that need picking up or shoveling after is an advantage. I put my prunings and branches in black trash bags and cover it with shit and usually add a bit of water and it gets disposed of as the PCA suggests.

just let it dry right out so has almost no smell then just crush it up into your regular garbage i mean its what i would do
only do this if you live in a legal state. if not never throw anything remotely illegal into your own trash. once its on the street the police do not need a warrant to collect your trash.

If they find anything illegal any judge will sign off on a search warrant for your house.

Be careful

I let mine dry out well then I crush it up. From there it gets mixed into a compost bucket that I have in my kitchen, from there it goes to the garden or compost bin outside once the bucket is full.. I mostly crush it up so there's no noticeable weed leaves in it later.

If you want to take the smell out of it you can get it wet and let it fully dry and most of the smell will be gone. Usually once I mix it with my kitchen compost I don't smell it....I just throw any organic food waste into the bucket from the kitchen and that's plenty to cover the smell ime.

*I'd honestly be super paranoid about taking a bag of trimmings to a trashcan somewhere...because of the danger of traveling with it, as well as any prints left on the bag if someone was to find it later. :(

dry them and use them in your smoker

makes some nice chicken

Or use a leaf or 10 to wipe your ass and flush them ?

Rot them up

dry them and mix them with alcohol, strain out the leaf it won`t smell like fook all then and you get some green booze

save them for when you do a soil dump ?

dump them in the park

loads of ways probably best to use a mixture

Thankfully I live in a legal state! All but my very first grow have been legal either through medical or recreational laws.

During my first grow I was so paranoid though. I burned all my leaves in my BBQ. The smell of the charcoal / fluid covered up the smell of the dry leaves and stems. I'd just put a little in at a time.

Now they just go in my yard debris can with the grass from my lawn.

Get the book "Worms Eat My Garbage."

It shows you how to build a worm bin. If setup right you can feed vegetable scraps, fruit peels, egg shells and coffee grounds.

If done right there is no smell. The book shows pictures of people making foot stool or benches to disguise them.

It will provide the best thing you can give your mj and house plants.
