Dispensary told me weird stuff

So got my mm card as I wanted some more guided assistance in what and how much to take. The dispensary told me different things than my Dr. The Dr. said to vape cbd, and that it doesn't matter if it comes from hemp or mj. He also said that just by ingesting thc it goes through your digestive tract first, so you get less of the head effects from thc.
The dispensary said that it makes a big difference getting cbd from mj vs hemp. The cbd if taken orally will give same effects taken orally, it'll just last longer. Also that it's the strain that gives you more of the body vs head effects from thc, sativa for the head effects - more apt to experience the anxiety I get, while indica won't give me those issues. The dispensary pharmacist also recommend their high thc strain for sleep at night.

I shared with the dispensary that my doctor recommended certain things, but they're recommending other things. They said it's up to me what to take regardless of what is recommended by either.

This is all new to me. I got my mm card not because I needed it to get stuff, but to gain more knowledge of what and how much to take, to gain educated information in this space. However, I'm getting conflicting information and still left up to my own final decision. Making my own decision in the end is a good thing, but when the dispensary says conflicting information than the doctor, it makes me say WTH am I supposed to take?

Your over thinking it.

Try different products and feel what works best for you.

All of these products are harmless especially in small amounts lol.

You trying to figure it all out on paper isn't going to help. Try a little bit of everything. You'll know what works best for you through experience.

All of these products effect everyone differently.

i think they're both looking at the same data and drawing different conclusions, and your doctor may not be up on all the weed knowledge he needs to be to be prescribing it. of course, your dispensary guys aren't doctors either.
ingesting (eating) cannabinoids takes longer for it to effect you, and its usually less of a mental thing and more of a physical thing.
it will last longer than smoking, and if you take enough, it can be as intense.
as far as i can see, the only difference between hemp and cannabis cbd oil would be that cannabis cbd oil may have a chance to get you high, while the hemp cbd never will.
sativa's can cause anxiety in some people, not sure if thats true with cbd oil, guess it depends on how much its been refined down and how much thc has been removed from it.
project has it pretty much right, though. i'd say try what your doctor suggest first, then adjust to fit your needs...
and tell your doctor about it, he needs to know this shit if he's going to be prescribing it for people

first off, that doctor isnt going to be able to tell you what is best for you. that is for YOU to determine, these doctors just want money for that Card.
if you are just trying to learn, learn the difference between indica and sativa first, and work from there. both have different medicinal values. just go try anything and everything you can, its safe and will be fun and effective <3
