No, of course you can share/gift your soup.

Sales is what I was referring to. You can sell your tomatoes to her, you can't sell ketchup you made from your tomatoes, that means processing.
the ruling states sales are transfers-they are the same. a transfer is a sale even without cash and a sale is a transfer with cash. They are one in the same now.

Yet patient to patient exchanges are fine as long as theres no compensation? but these two rulings are now overlapping  MI Courts for the fail

I have never sold to a dispensary ...I. thought it was higher than 8-10% markup.

What does the avg disp pay for a lb? 3200?
Correct me if I am wrong, if they are moving 50$ 1/8. N. Zips for 350$ that is 5400-6400 a lb. So markup. Would be 85-100% .....if my numbers are correct...are they
I don't think there is a dispensary in town that will buy that much of one flavor its not in their best interest. They chanrge like this- it's 15 a gram, then when they have made the "purchase" price back, it falls some per gram and weight is always given a break. if it says 15 a gram it is never 427.50 but you guys are like cops that way you like to inflate that shit to make it sound like such a rip-off. they keep track on a pc usually how much they paid for each oz (lbs just aren't likely if you sold one before speak up) and how much they are making of it. the price falls as they make their money back. P.S. all the places here in town consign it-they do not buy it. so if you drop an LB you're going to wait a LOOOONG time for it to move an you get paid for it. I dont know all the specifics but the guys I know broke it sdown to me like that. and I believe them. I get 250 for my best lab tested stuff and it's marked at 15 a gram but the oz would walk out the door for 300-350 depending on demand. it's gone in a week (1 ounce). I once took 2 ounces of white widow wich you know never moves due to name recognition and just being plain old stuff and I watched it go from 15/gram to 12 to 10 over 2 weeks. it sold 1 gram at time and took forever (2 weeks is forever for me LOL) but the price fell as they recouped the $ they needed to get for it. flame away kids I know you hate this kind of post so do your worst the truth hurts.

where do you get that? To my knowledge they clarified that transfer and sale are one in the same. to me that means you can't do either....

The only way to deal with this situation is to up prices. The risk went up for the grower, therfore, the cost goes up for consumer. Especially the retailer. If people would get on the same page and pull the same strong arm shit on them that they do on their vendors, things would change real quick. Dispensaries are greedy because we allow it. Period. When theyre desperate they make calls to vendors to fill their pockets. Stop allowing them to pretend theyre doing you a favor. Youre doing them a favor and they need to fucking pay for it
not the grower-that's the same its the SELLER-you can grow as normal. if you were moving overages the rules changed for selling.

Here is Murfy's post for context to my reply

My point was that although we can sell tomatos at the road, we can't process the tomatoes and sell paste/juice/sauce etc without a license to do so.

If cannabis was rescheduled and was like a tomato, any extract/medible/tincture would still be regulated.

Still cloudy?

Not having the licensing like CO for such things make MI that much more better to live in for a patient imo.
Haha thanks for clearing that up. My mind isn't always the sharpest early in the morning.

I agree with you if you only look at pricing but availability is going to be tough for new patients and elderly who are totally unconnected to the world of weed. If there are dispensaries they have a much better chance of finding what they need.

A lot of elderly folks don't have a computer or the internet, don't know how to use them and are totally unconnected. They're also more likely to have severe conditions that need tended to immediately.

Anyway i'm getting off topic and starting to sound like a broken record. Just that I'm concerned for those folks. I collected signatures and voted for medical marijuana so everybody who needed it can have access to it. I wasn't happy about the 21 day waiting period for the same reason. This decision has actually enforced misery and even death sentences to a lot of good people.

raise prices?-

we won't have to. jsut stop selling overages today. if you're hurting for money don't sweat it. in a week things will change. overages dry up tomorrow? patients will be begging for a good caregiver, with good recompense to boot, i'd bet.

You are correct C&T. The supreme court overruled the CoA decision in Green. Free transfers are no longer allowed.

If you thought that the MMMA was gonna save your ass from the beginning, then you have been living in fairytale land. The fact is, if you have all of those things to lose, you should not have started doing what you are doing until it is 100% legal with no grey area. You HAVE been risking your freedom whether you know it or not.
Pwhat I was referring to is dispensary owners though, not just growers. You shouldn't be willing to open a place without being will to go to j ail for doing so. Anyone who closes right now is a pussy. No change happens if you just follow directions from our oppressors.

If I were to open a dispensary, or participate in farmers markets, or grow pounds instead of ounces, or run around selling to a bunch of people who aren't my patients, then yes, I would be fooling myself to believe that this law affords me any protection. I'm not doing that though. I may get my door kicked in and harassed by the po-po, but I will not go to jail if I stay within the parameters of the law. You're being paranoid to believe otherwise.

Edit: And these "grey areas" you speak of are really only due to some pretty liberal interpretations of the law. There are no grey areas if you can read. 12 plants for yourself, and 12 plants per patient that has assigned you caregiver. 2.5oz's for yourself, and 2.5oz's per patient that has assigned you caregiver. You deal only with the patients registered to you. Sure, there are areas such as P2P and dispensaries that were NOT addressed in the bill, but those are only interpreted as "grey areas" by people who wanted to believe something that just wasn't there.

What an absolute line of crap. You think because there is a link to my website on that one they run the Muskegon Clinic? Wow. I have a link on many websites. Thanks for popping in and adding your nonsense, but you really should research a little better before you make accusations.

Lol Cory, please don't ever compare me to a cop...I think like a buisness man...as anyone running a biz should ....I have friends in Cali n rado who deal with dispensaries n that is where I get my info, as stated. I said I have never orwill ever front anything to one...unless a friend opened one....which is unlikely.

That sucks hockey, sorry to hear that.
