I hate discord servers. There’s always someone wanting you to join their discord just like back in the early day when people wanted you to join their irc chat rooms. This forum and others like it are a well established community. I don’t see the need to hop on another place to chat about shit.
You really can't identify the purpose? I'm now forced to distinguish between a real-time chat and a forum for you? The intent was never to "talk shit", it was to create an environment where people could actively discuss growing techniques and receive instantaneous feedback or support.
I understand the difference between real-time chat vs a forum. Just simply don’t see the need. Everyone want to make one anymore. There’s no hate just don’t see the need. Most post get responses here in as little as a few minutes.
I remember back in the early days running multiple bots on IRC. MIRC was the client I used. We'd do flood attacks, etc... and take over peoples channels and gain Ops. Mid to late nineties. Back during dial up days. Fun times. Windows 95 had just come out.
