Discolored and mis-shaped leaves

I am using the 900w led viparspectra and am having similar issues. My plants under my MH are taking off while my leds are droopy and slow growing. I only have the Veg switch on but it seems like these lights are just too bright. I raided the light as high as it will go about 4 feet and it doesn't seem to make a difference. It's so frustrating I'm considering moving them all to HID and trying to use the Led in flower.

Hey Tony,

I'm glad you posted here. I'm having a hard time finding info on the VIPARSPECTRA's here or on similar forums. Keep us posted on how your grow goes, and if you figure out a solution.

Thanks

I will for sure it's just been frustrating especially after a significant investment compared to my 600w YieldLab hid setup. First time grow for me so I will record everything I can and maybe figure this issue out.

Ok, so things are moving along. No real issues I'm noticing. Here are the pics from today. The leaves seem to be coming in very close to each other, I'm just not sure if that's normal or not. The lights are still at 29", and the temps are staying pretty constant between 77-82. Still no new growth from the little guy in back, now at day 12. I decided to keep her there for a while and see what happens. Since she's an auto, I am curious to see if she changes at all.

Thank you to everyone who's helped me out so far, and will continue to offer advice as my grow continues.

Dont give up on the autos. I had two small autos in my recent grow that are now my tallest.

WOW!, now dats beautiful for a month. Cannabis on hgh , lol. Looking good in the buckets. At what of time did you decide to move em from soil to Hydro. I have done it once and got a big jump from soil to hydro.

If I don't fly imma die anyway

Hey guys, I'm back with more problems. I had to travel for work and my plants went under-watered for 1-3 days. They've recovered well since I watered them, but I now have an issue with a couple dead leaves. When the plants first started out, some of the leaves became bleached from the light being too close. These leaves have now died. I'm not sure if I should remove them.

1 plant is an auto, and the other is a photo. Do I remove the dead leaves? Thanks for the help!

yeah, they should come off fairly easily, if they seem like they're still attached well, leave them another couple of days. you don't want to leave dead material on your plant or in your pots, it draws pests and may cause fungal problems

Hey Roger,

Thanks so much for the help! I'll cut them tonight. I don't know what I'd do without everyone on this forum that's offered advice.
