Direct/indirect sunlight

I like in a state where growing isn't legal. With that said I can't have my plant in the wide open so they have to hide under a tree. They do get indirect sunlight with very little direct. First question will the lack of direct sun effect yeild?(which I assume it would) Second question will the lack of direct sun cause a later then normal harvest?
Thanks in advance

If you can only have partial sun,use a place with morning sun if possible. It allows them to dry out sooner to prevent mold .GL
