direct conversation recipients,

I have had the hardest time populating the field for direct conversation recipients. It takes 2,3,or 4 letters of a name and then stops and replaces the 3rd or 4th character with the next letters you try to put in. I don't know anyone in here with a 3 character name. Am I the "special" one here?

It's difficult to understand what is happening, so I just assume that you have a loose nut on your keyboard.

So to make it easy you can just go to their profile, or hover-over their avatar, and click on Start Conversation. Then their username is filled in for you.
