And what are the practical applications of this technology?
I can see special circumstances... Say remote repair of the Space Station from Earth using any type of human that can physically endure space optimally. Or remote surgery using the local town butcher... Just plug the best surgeon in the world into the system...
But outside of that, I can only see a LOT of negative externalities resulting from this tech...
