Dinafem Powerkush

I just finished a beautiful growing, sativa dominant, yummy smelling, Attitude freebie Dinafem Powerkush. I have never grown anything from Dinafem before and people spoke highly about Powerkush so I figured I would give it a try. I am very happy with the finished product. So happy that I actually ordered more Powerkush during the 4/20 sale at Attitude. So here is my smoke report and a couple pics of these quick dried (reflector)samples.

Strain: Dinefem Powerkush
Growth: cracked 12/28/10 flower tent 1/23/11 harvest 4/24/11. 13 weeks is much longer than they claim but she stretched for almost 4 weeks after hitting 12/12 and I replanted in a bigger pot just days before flowering.
Nutes: Subcool Super Soil in the beginning and then Advanced Nutrients Iguana Juice towards the end. She loved a full powered dose of the juice and never cried about it and always wanted more. Never any signs of burn. She was in a 5 gallon smart pot thingy. They work well.
Yield: I have not weighed her and doubt I ever will but my guess is 3-4oz Main cola alone has got to be over an ounce, almost 2 feet long.
Bag Appeal: Beautiful nuggets of light green with orange hairs and covered in trichs.
Smell: Skunky sweet smell and very strong.
Taste: Yummy and delicious yet very familiar.
The High: Great up high and lasts a while. I just gave it the 1 hit test first high of the day and been high for almost 2 hours now.

These buds here were just little lower smaller shag buds that I quick dried on my reflector yet still kicked my ass and I am baked. heh Last pick is her in the tent left side front.

Your raves are what prompted me to pull out my jar and dig for the Power Kush freebie I also received a while back. She is only ~3 weeks old but growing lovely and strong, I'm still at least 10 weeks from tasting her, but my anticipation grows, thank you!

Congrats. Power Kush is some pretty good bud. My buddy grew the freebie that I got from attitude. Lots of crystals with a sweet fruity flavor. 4oz yield using SCROG under a 400w MH/HPS. First time he did a SCROG, so there is lots of room for yield to increase.

Most people claim theirs finished in 8 weeks. I could have vegged longer because she tripled after veg and was 5 feet including the pot.

Got pretty big, close to 5 feet from the ground in a 5g grow bag.

Thanx for the smoke report and pics. I got some Power Kush freebies at HGF in A'dam last summer, but haven't grown them yet. I'll be popping them next sound.

I have a PK plant in veg for 2 months now, I just took a bunch of clones and I can't wait to move her in the bloom room. Nice bud porn

I can say that PowerKush is a decent smoke, but I'd give it a 6.5/10 for potency. It was covered in trichs and the taste was real fruity much like the description. Finished at around 8 weeks grown using a waterfarm and flora nova bloom for nutrients.

thanks for the report. One friendo of mine grew Power Kush recently, and the nugs smelled like coffee, and the high was very indica like, you felt like lying in the couch watching tv...and this was a night we were in a rock show!!
