Dinafem are scammers beware!

Its a share of my experience*

I made an order from Dinafem at 1st May 2018, since then been only 5.5 months.
I got myself Sensi seed Northern lights and also Purple Afghan Kush with another Purple bud pack.

Around two-three weeks ago i started germinating the seeds i got from Dinafem,
3 NL's and 3 Purple Afghan Kush since then only 1 seed sprout in Rockwool and the other ones rotten and i had
to throw it away, so I did.

The germination rate was awful so I emailed Dinafem with the whole story,
Their answer was that my seeds are out of guarantee (3 months which makes no sense in that case) and either way they need a picture of them to confirm which also make no sense at all.

I tried to explain myself like 5 times but they have no real appreciated answer for their clients,
Only telling me stupid answers, i don't think they even understand...

JUST SCAMMERS, DON'T DEAL WITH THEM FOR ANY PRICE.

They claim that i stored the seeds wrong or something like that even tho i did it in the past and it worked.
even with 1 year old seeds it still would work.

Hi

We already told you that we can do anything for this time. Out of guarantee delay + without pictures

Have a nice day

Hi

we have no mínimum order so we ask people to purchase what they will germinate, and to not stock the seeds. They are living seeds, so the storage is important

Best regards

Hi ,

We are deeply sorry but we can’t help you with this matter.
We have a germination guarantee, for 3 months after the purchase, and we need a picture of the seeds

I thought the rock wool and your technique were the issue with your germination rate?
I thought too but i changed technique , and did almost anything i could starting from buying cfl, thermo controller, bought new bluelab ph meter just to compare with mine;
1 Seed out of 6 sprout after around 10 days i think... i got crazy about that for real....

but i realised that the problem is in the seeds.
impossible that so many seeds failed, i worked with DNA genetics before and everything was smooth.

Well I have not personally bought Dinafem but I have had issues with seeds from many breeders and some may have been my fault as well ...some may have been old stock and some may have not been worked strains...
I do have better rates when I use immediately ,even though I store all my seeds in a sealed plastic container in the refrigerator
Sorry your luck was such

Anyway,I didn't need to do so many things just to germinate seeds,
I've done it with paper towel and tap water - not so hard.

since i got mad on that the only good thing i got is new equipment (RO, ph meter and CFL's) which cost me twice the price of the seeds.

I hope good people won't fall to that scam,

By the way, i told by experienced guy who works in the cannabis industry
here is a quote of his mail:

Not a bit surprised to hear that, 99% of European Seedbanks are scammers who sell shit genetics cuz most people have no idea. Sensi has been a joke since he lost his original stock back in 2005 and Dinafem is also a joke.

LOL
There is a large contingent of chuckers/breeders pushing US seed banks only ... I still believe in Santa Claus so it must be true :fire:

Maybe you right, but for me buying from legalized and controlled country makes more sense after being scammed.
I have to say again that i had good success with DNA genetics and Kens Granddaddy purples.

I think i spent too much time mailing with Dinafem i'd better roll a joint and keep on,

To the upcoming scammed people, take my advice don't spend your time mailing with them, they will find a reason not to be responsible for that anyway.

I had no problems with dinafem.
And seen a Lot good grows with there genetics.

Are you sure its not the way you germ. The seeds? Seeds in rockwool can die fast(water and temps, to much or to less).

Sound like European bashing...
And what are the most of the american seed companys, when european ist scam?
Holy piece of shit?

Who much genetics are from EU , the usa company are working with...

You have some really nice seed companys, But a Lot more shit than we have in the EU.
As long as it is illegal in the EU the american company (in legal)staats have the advantage
To become a Lot better and much faster

Your buddy's quote is pretty much 99% wrong...

I have never ordered directly from Dinafem, but I have grown Dinafem 20 or so times and never had a problem with any of their genetics. Spanish breeders if I remember correctly and overall a solid company.

Thats exactly the point , and thats why i prefer to go with the us companies nowdays, they are just more advanced and treat it like a real business.

Dinafem put their responsibility on their clients while pointing with stupid rules which make no sense too.

I would post the whole mail but its just too long and too many details been spoke ...

Good company wouldn’t let the customer to be disappointed , we are talking about 5 seeds but they don’t care cus they already made their name big and famous and there is too many little people like me...
.. sadly i cant do much about it but i can share and its up to the upcoming lucky people who will see this post to decide if they would go with dinafem,

One thing, if you choose dinafem , atleast buy from seedsman or a company that takes responsibility.

Sorry, but its more likley you're fault the seeds went bad. Dinafem has a super strong rep and can be found all over for proof. You also could've gotten mistreated seeds from a SEEDBANK not actually straight from Dinafem which case they cant control how their seeds are stored or cared for.

Taking pictures of the seeds that did not germinate is common practice for seed companies since they need proof that your seeds did not germinate otherwise anyone could just lie and say they didn't germinate and get new seeds for free.

I have taken pictures of seeds that did not germinate for me before from a different company and they immediately sent me out new seeds. You cant get upset at them for needing confirmation that your seeds didn't germinate, you should of taken pictures of them not germinating and you probably would of got new seeds from them.

Never ever have I had a problem with dinafem, always a rather helpful company and have nearly every one of their photoperiod strains either in storage if not already grown. Shit happens some times and easy to blame others.

My only mistake in that case is that i threw them instead of taking picture before.

Shit happens, I ordered ethos genetics hope everything will be ok with them...

Next time i should take clones thats it..buying seeds is so annoying as long as its illegal...

Well it depends where you are, I'm in Cali where it's legal. I can legally grow up to 99 plants.

I hope your new seeds work out well for you just remember to take pics if they dont germinate next time.

US companies are "more advanced?" I'm not sure where you are from Vlkk, but that sounds like a pretty questionable blanket statement to me, and I'm American. No problem with Dinafem here, though like another poster I never bought their gear directly from them, so I don't know.

You can say you've had better success "these days" with American companies, a whole 6 months after your Dinafem order? Sometimes you can get a bad batch, or just screw it up without understanding how when you're not too experienced. Things are usually a little hit-or-miss until you can dial everything in a bit, so keep practicing and I bet you're germ rates will go up. You win some, you lose some. Just my two cents.
