What's the best digital hot plate, stirring rod, and graduated glass beakers to mix your distillates and terps together with?

The best stirring hot plate that we found was the CAT Scientific MCS-66. See attached link:

Thanks for the answer, I realize the hot plate you suggested is $1200, do you have recommendation for hot plate just to stir distillates and terps together with that dosent cost as much?? I will only use it once every few months to stir around 300ml at a time, any suggestions I would greatly appreciate

Our other stirring hotplate was a Thermolyne, which worked well, but wasn't as rock solid accurate as the CAT.

All you need is a cheap magnetic hotplate/stirrer. (Digital is cool, but there are analog hotplates at laboratories all over the world.) You just need it to have a temp. function and speed function. Should come with a stir bar. Buy a couple extra. Also a means of checking solution temp. Hg thermometer. Or I.R. gun. You don't have to break the bank on a hotplate/stirrer. Lol There's so many other cool toys to spend money on! I want a roto-vap!

It has pretty digital readouts. Lol. The one you got is perfect for what we are doing. Some might have better/stronger magnet/motors, and heat adjustments may be slightly more precise. We aren't synthesizing L.S.D. here it's just extracted cannabinoids. It is perfect and will seve you well for years. I'm sure of it.

Control. I set the CAT on a temperature and it held precisely to that number to the -10 (0.1), where the Termolyne varied a degree or two each side of set point. The CAT also stirred more viscous material.

Just like I said, but if you aren't rollin' in cash a base model will work fine. Just monitor your temp and adjust if needed. You can always upgrade in a couple years, and sell that one to the next guy. Or keep for backup. B4 I got a new hot plate (old one got stolen), i was trying to make do with a kitchen style flat griddle (like for pancakes ect.). Talk about temp fluctuations. Forget about it. Lol My old one was a spendy one. (Was synthesizing MDMA in early 2000s so had the money). No money in small time cannabis in WA. Do it mostly for a hobby. I love experimenting though.
