Digital ballast problem

Hi all. I'm a newbie having trouble with my digital ballast. It's a Digital Greenhouse 400W MH/HPS that I bought in June for my first grow. It had been running fine and I was loving it. But tonight, I unplugged it to mist the plants and, when I went to plug it back in, the MH bulb flashed and went dark like when a lightbulb blows out. The bulb is less than two months old. It wouldn't fire at all after that. So, I screwed in a good HPS bulb and it wouldn't fire either. The wall socket didn't short out. It's a regular 110 grounded outlet. Any tips on what the problem could be? Thanks in advance.

Leave it unplugged for about 30 minutes.Then make sure the bulb is in the socket and try plugging it back in. So digital ballasts have a built in saftey delay to save the inside and the bulb.Make sure there is no fuse outside on the ballast and if this fails try a new power outlet to make sure the wall outlet didnt burn out

Well, that didn't work either. I guess I'll call the store I bought it from and ask about troubleshooting. Thanks for trying.

Update ... my hydro store replaced my ballast no questions asked. New one working fine!
