Gotta ask...Seeing the height these girls are getting, at what point in this grow would you consider its time to install a scrog net? ...I've never grown ...just wondering for a future grow (soon I hope)

Scrog net could have been installed already .

According to LBH scrog tutorial he says he likes net approx 8-10 inches above medium or plant base.

I decided against scrogging this run

If you are planning to scrog, go over to growweedeasy and ready LBH scrog tutorial.

His training and method seems simple enough

Still day 45

Countdown to flip is on. 6 days from today. Jan 10th will be flip day.

Just finished up a light defoliation on 3 of the girls. Preparing for the upcoming flip.

I left #2 alone because of the stress from the broken stem, although she don't look too bad.

The twins are both getting light, I assume they will take water tomorrow

Day 47

2 of the biggest took water yesterday with 550ppm feeding, today both are looking nice.

other 2 are still a bit heavy, not using up as much water as other 2.

biggest girl has really taken the lead of this group, the broken stem didnt seem to bother her at all, she just keeps going and going

Day 48 since sprout

Day 1 of flower

Decided to put the trellis net in, these strains are known to stretch, so I'll use the net to help keep canopy flat but also as support.

Not a scrog in traditional sense, but I will use the net to help during stretch.

Hortilux 600w Super hps bulb installed
Simplified my exhaust fan/run a little better

2 smallest girls were watered with 550ppm to runoff

Will begin ramping up nutes in the coming weeks

Day 2 flower

Had to switch light schedule, so they have had 21 hours of darkness

might remove net as I'm not really liking it much.

2 big girls were given 1.25g of Ph water with 2ml/g silica treatment.

since i removed the net, i needed to put the ties back on some branches cause they were all shooting up quick.

Day 3 flower

Temps dropped in tent to 64f last night, it was colder in my basement than normal. Will be placing small heater in the room where the tent is. Otherwise everything else looks good I think.

Day 4 flower

3 of the fruit punch are growing well

The Atomic is still way behind, maybe just strain? Dunno? Maybe I shocked her with the defoliation last week, she still looks healthy, just not growing at the pace of the other 3.

Temps 78f/ 58rh lights on
69f/ 54rh lights off

Day 5 flower

Had to start shutting humidifier off when lights go out, turned exhaust down low and kept oscillating fans running.

Temps
79f 58rh lights on
70f 55rh lights off

Biggest girl is getting light, other 3 all still seem pretty heavy right now.

Little lst here and there and a few tops super cropped , other than that just cruising along

Day 6 flower

Biggest girl FP1 seems to be growing nicely, using up her water at good pace.

FP2 has slowed a little and isn't drinking as much since the flip. Stress? Extra hours of dark? Not sure

FP3 is doing well, growing well. Starting to catch up to her bigger sisters.

Atomic is still small in comparison, but she got nodes on top of nodes.

Lights on 79f/ 55rh
Lights off 69f/ 48rh

Turned exhaust up a little to decrease humidity a little more during lights out.

Day 7 flower

They are stretching

3 fruit punch all growing well.
Atomic still lagging behind in size but she's a pretty plant with so many nodes.

Temps 80f/ 50rh

Removed humidifier, will begin decreasing humidity in the coming days/weeks, decrease risk or pm or mold.

I would use stakes, not a net, but that's me. They look good but I'd have flipped 2 weeks ago :) It will be interesting to see how they do. I'm constantly running many different strains so netting them is simply to constraining, my canopy is usually all over the place LOL

With vegetation packed in tightly watch closely for PM, keep a good fan on them to provide plenty of circulation the ability to shift their place in the grow space helps with pockets of less circulation.

Ya they were supposed to be flipped on Jan 1st, but it got pushed to Jan 7th.

Will def keep an eye opened for PM, im beginning to lower my humidity in the tent for this reason, decrease chances of it ever showing up.

Thanks

Well I wanna say my pistils on this grow started to show around day 10, and now I'm on day 23 and they are starting to put weight on and get frosty.

Cool, day 7 for me today, so hopefully soon

I'll have another closer look when the lights come back on.

How are your plants doing?
