Day 27

2 biggest girls were all topped again today, one is really responding more than the other 3.

Still only ph'd water.

Took 4 days for pots to dry/lighten up.

Each took .5 gallon of water to runoff

Day 30 from seed

all 4 have been topped twice and LST
temps are staying consistant at 78f/50rh lights on, 72f/42rh lights out.

started running inline fan 24/7 to combat lights out humidity and air flow.

Have been advised that maybe defoliating a few of the bigger fan leaves would be beneficial.

looking good man! I try to trim any big fan leaves that are blocking any other tops or to allow light and air to the center of the plant.

hey, thanks man

i just finished my first defoliation, removed 1 big fan of each plant and a couple others that were blocking lower growth bad.

hopefully it didn't stress them too much and they bounce back nicely.

will post pics later.

That's the size I'm planing on. Too big causes a lot of problems, especially with fabric pots. I used seven gallon but saw a lot of moisture problems.

i also have 3gs but they werent here when it was transplant time. The plan was to move to 5g pots for flower but like you mentioned, i too have noticed the significant increase in humidity since using the fabric pots and the plants getting bigger.

i have seen a few grows finish up in 2g pots and they have seemed decent

i am planning to scrog this run if all goes as planned

Looks great! The leaves are nice and green in every picture.

You'll probably look back on this journal and be happy about the frequency of your updates.

Hey, thanks for popping in. appreciate the kind words, things have went pretty well so far.

ill be completely honest, i tried to do alot of reading/youtube before deciding on every aspect of this first grow (equipment/seeds/strains etc), one of the things i have found help me most is a journal i found on here by a guy named figgy. He also grew fruit punch and updated pretty regular and those constant updates are extremely helpful to new growers like me who really are helpless and trying to learn as we go lol.

so i made a promise that i too would log everything and keep a detailed journal with lots of pics, you never know when another guy just like myself might stumble upon this journal and it may help them like figgys did for me

or

i will totally mess this up and will have detailed records to remind me lol
