Different voltage COBs on same string

Will it work? I have HLG-C185-1050B (190 volt max) and couple Vero 29SE in 69 volts version (C). I can't run third of the same kind, so can I add third Vero 29SE in 49 volt version (B)? I never seen anybody doing this, neither my search comes up with nothing.

I'd say as long as the cob falls between the driver's maximum and minimum voltages and amperages. You should be ok. Otherwise you're more than likely going to end up damaging your cobs and or driver.

Don't quote me on this. As I'm fairly new to DIY and cobs myself. But, as far as I'm aware. This is your biggest concern.

Yes it can be done.

As long as the total voltage of all the cobs does not exceed the drivers max voltage, yes, this will work just fine.

Ah yeah. That's right. That's why I ended up getting the second Vero 29C cob. With the driver available. I was about 10v short of being able to fire up the light.
