Difference in Northern Lights strains/seed bank question

Last year I grew northern lights from Seedsman and they were definitely mostly indica.....shorty, stocky, big fat leaves, etc. This grow, also northern lights, but from Attitude, seems to be more sativa.

Last year, at 4-5 weeks old, the plants were 1 foot tall. This set from Attitude, at 4-5 weeks old, the plants are 2 feet tall.

I know my horticulture experience has increased my ability to grow, but come on.........I can't be that damn good. Can I?

I have heard that there are different strains, #1, #5, etc. So, did I get a more sativa strain from Attitude? Is it possible they sent me the wrong seeds?? I just don't understand the difference in growth despite both sets of seeds being northern lights!

Also, I have not purchased seeds in about a year, but need to do so, and not up to date on current seed banks that ship to the US.

I want the shorter, more indica northern lights. Advice????

Thanks for any and all help!

same name different seedbank diff strain, some may buy the original and copy it , others may just call anything by that name , even if its a copy it doesn't mean it will end up the same .i beleive the original indica northern lights is from sensi seeds and attitude stock there seeds or you could go to seed boutique.
best of luck
