Did the Light Kill the Plant??

I woke up this morning and to my surprise one of my cfl fixtures had dropped right on top of my plant so im thinking that it was like that for at least 3 hours. Is there anything that I can do to revive her or should I just scrap that one?

It'll live if there's a reasonable amount of foliage left on it. Probably add a week or two to its lifecycle though, dependant upon how bad the damage is.

I've done all sorts (dropping them, dropping things on them) to my plants and they've pulled through. Be kind to her and hope for the best. Can't hurt to wait it out a few days.

She is 2 weeks today i just gave her some big bloom, I'm going to post a pic later. I also have one drooping and has brown spots on it I'll post a pic of that one too

Ohhh thats not good... Try keep the cycle growing if new folage comes into place after about a week id cut the old burn spots off.. who know what will happen! best of luck! the brown spot and droop one is able to perk back if you take care of it.

That plant is fooked, be surprised if it comes back, when you say big bloom, do you mean flowering nute? Either way they are far too young to fertilise!

It looks like im getting some new sprouts in there its a kush/purp strand so I do wanna save it but I have 4 more kush/purp plants so it won't be a total loss but 5 is always better.

No not a flowering nute it i a vegging nute its 0.01 - 0.3 - 0.7 And they actually advertise it as medicine for sick plants. Have you ever used or looked at Fox Farm its actually the first part of the feeding schedule that you introduce as a seedling but I didn't do them that early. Check my journal I like the results Im getting with it

Nah never looked at fox farms range, I use baby bio for herbs 5-5-5 for my moms and vegging plants, well they are rooted clones vegging for a week or two at most then connoisseur to flower, big bud from week 3 through 6 as an addition. The baby bio is unconventional but i dont argue with results and considering they are only chewing on that for a week I dont mind and neither do they it seems.

I'll check your journal.

I see you like to use the really expensive stuff lol. I was going to go with the flora series but this old guy that was a 20yr grower (he was the one who told me about growing "tomatoes" when in the store stupid me) was in the store schooling me and he and the guy behind the counter both suggested FF because they said it gives you great results if you follow the schedule and its all organic so the smoke will be better in the end so I was told
Thanx I'm looking for any feedback and suggestions I can get so been trying to be thorough in the journal and please feel free to comment and leave rep lol...

It's not that pricey, £40 for conni and £2 for the baby bio, unless that was a suggestive remark about the baby bio LOL. I've used others before but find the conni and big bud combo dynamite for my purpose.

I think FF is a decent choice for soil but i am strictly hydro hence my choice.

I also hear dyna gro is decent from homebrewer on here, PS. why not trim the burnt bits off the leaves, those parts will never come back.

Biggest piece of advice I can give you is to rather under feed than overfeed, nute burn can never be reversed nor can stress related setbacks for the plant.

So my droopy one has neut burn?? The store I was in was a specialty store seeing as to the part of the world im in this is not a popular thing and its winter time so the bigger stores are out of season on gardening/greenhouse stuff hell I can barely find 6500k cfl's and the highest t-12 bulbs i can get are @ 5000k. Conni here is about $65 and Big Bud and Bud Candy were a stupid price like the same as voodoo juice and thats for 1 liter where FF was $15 a piece so i paid for the whole system what they wanted to charge for one bottle of that. They said it was the best I thought the bottles just looked cool lol. when i was first in there I knew absolutely NOTHING. what ?? to ask what types of plants to ask about nothing

Don't know if the burnt bits are from nute burn but you should trim them anyway, they are doing nothing on there even if it makes you feel better for aesthetic sakes. Sounds like you live in the middle of nowhere my friend?

As for admitting you bought FF for the cool looking bottle, you would be the first to ever admit to that on here, most would never be that open +rep for that giggle.

UPDATE: Neut burn is gone on plants. THe one that had the light fall on it looks like its getting fresh foliage, then I had the same light fall on another plant FML but I just totally reran the whole light this time wont happen again. So 2 are recovering from sun burn lol and the other 6 are thriving. Ill just keep foliar feeding those two until they come back.
