Did I wait to long to harvest (Stevia strain) Any help is greatly appreciated.

This is my first "real" grow so please go easy on me =).
This is Stevia strain called Africa Kwazulu (Regular Seeds ).
I grew outside in pots, under 12/12 natural lighting from seed.
The plant is 24 inches tall.

I went out of town, and am unsure exactly when it started flowering. I am thinking it started pre flowering around 1 week after christmas, so that would make it so its been flowering, 14 weeks or so.
When reading on this strain it says it only needs 8-9 weeks to flower.. But being a 100% stevia strain I dont think thats true.

She is deffanitly at the end of her life cyle, but Do you think I let it go too long? Here is pictures. How much bud do you think is on her?

if you've got amber triches you went too long...most african sats do not flower as long as other sats

as a rule I never guesstimate yield

Your pics are horrible. Take closer pics. Does it look done to you? It should have a golden finished look to it. Breeders often tell you quicker finishing times than are real.

You mean Sativa, not Stevia. Stevia is a plant used as a natural and healthy source of sugar.

And to me, that looks completely ripe for a sativa variety. Make sure you let it dry and cure thoroughly, at least 2 weeks, and it looks like it will be good smoke.

Looks like some exotic for sure though!

Oh, and as far as how much bud....

From the pictures you've shown, you'll be lucky to get 10 grams once it is completely dried. Those are very airy, sparcely placed calyxes.

for a 2 foot plant those buds look really sickly. i mean they look good but they aren't big or tight.

what did you grow in? shoot i had one plant grew to about 30 inches tall. i didn't give it any nutes and i got about 40g dried.

i use fox farm ocean forest. and 10 CFLS

Thankyou for all the responces guys, I really appreciate it.
Yeah I have noo idea why the buds are sooo small, that part of the reason why I waited soo long.. Because I kept thinking they would expand or get bigger or somthing..
Idk what I did wrong.

grew outside in a large pot.. Wasnt a lot all the time, but I dont see how that would have effected the bud size... Kinda sad, could have had gotten a lot more out of her.

Yeah man, they look super airy. Were they in direct sunlight for most of the light period? Looks to me as if they weren't getting enough light. I don't know shit though so take that for what it is.
