Did I take too long to transplant?

I'm not really what qualifies as too rootbound. These are 11 days from breaking soil. I gave the roots a little squeeze before transplanting them.

no they'll be fine. ive gone longer. use plastic cups instead of Styrofoam tho

its never too late. but what to look for is complete covering of the soil by roots. Literally, you will see no soil.

next time you raise from seed perhaps try using the bigger plastic cups, black cloth tape the outside so the light doesnt affect the roots and then transplant when you see roots at the bottom
