Did I miss the "how to lie" class in high school?

I am so sick of everyone I deal with in regards to any "*" substance being full of lies, and two faced. Is no one honest anymore? Did i somehow miss the class?

So as you may assume, I just caught someone in a lie, AGAIN. Seems i dont need to dig too deep to find lies now a days, and I only look up those of which are persons of interest.

Lets say my name is bob, and the other person is "fred"... I meet fred, and his friend about 7 or 8 months ago through my work... They both have pasts, I buy a little of this and that off of fred's friend, he starts to short me, and second guess prices, so i walk. Now my friend fred gets arrested a month or so ago, and say's its from an unpaided ticket... no big deal... whatever... Well the thought crossed my mind to check this out, because a more serious situation arose, and I need to really trust the guy... long story short, with a few clicks with google, and a local PD website, I quickly find out he was arrested for the very thing I've been dealing with him about. Only this was not a misdemeanor anymore... So I've basically now concluded, I dont even want to know why he is out, with next to nothing, with priors like he has, he must be informing or something. I'm furious right now, but honestly what has been done would not amount to much in reality, but this discovery of mine, well... Im just shaking my head. I need to cut bait with a good handful of fucking dip shits and find honest people to deal with if they even fucking exsist anymore.

I'm sick of this shit, I'm totally arming myself again, and really feel like the only people i can trust is family... Also going to invest in as much counter intelligence as possible from now on. It does not pay to be an honest person in a world full of fuckin liars... :wall:
 
It really is a dog eat dog world . But I trust in Karma and you ll find others in time as well that do too , but they will be more like family in the end !:mrgreen:

Much like with police, the truth can get you into trouble, and lies can get you out of a lot of trouble

I used to be totally honest with people, but doing that caused me a lot of unnecessary trouble, so I think it's smarter to just stay quiet, some people call that 'omitting the truth', but if you're never directly asked anything, how can you be lying?

I think lying can get you ahead and you have no obligation to not lie if it doesn't cause anyone any harm, for example, lying about your experience to get a job, I don't think that would be wrong and in doing so might get you in a position you otherwise wouldn't have been in
 
I hope you don't find yourself having to lie in court against this person.
Most people are good hearted but money turns some into monsters, even family.
 
I hope so man, I really hope so... I'm just sick of people in general, but for most of us we have no choice but to deal with them.

If it where up to me i would be a mountain man, grow for personal and for trade/food... but we cant do that shit, cause every peice of shit inch of land on this planet is controlled by some asshole claiming either colors, or a flag... Shit. No wonder cartel's are the way they are... You basically have to fight for anything to call your own, and kill anyone that tries to fuck your shit up. Kinda like a country does, just smaller and a cunt hair more brutal. Lol
 
Also, as far as trusting people goes, there are 2 people I fully trust, which excludes some immediate family

It's very easy for me to cut people out of my life completely, especially if they abuse my trust, people get one chance usually, then after that it's just impossible for me to trust them again and the relationship eventually deteriorates anyway..

HAHA, well lying for jobs i am no stranger to... I bounce around alot, can't seem to deal with much bullshit before i move on. Always knew I would never get ahead working for anyone but myself anyways, so i never felt a real loss from any of them.
 
I really hope I am never on the stand in regards to drugs... I would have a field day degrading, manipulating, and completely destroying the law, even if i got a maximum because of it.

Fact: Alcohol and Tobacco kill more than all illegal drugs combined, If combined with accidents because of alcohol it would trump pretty much everything by a LONG SHOT. I would ask why I am criminalized for such and such, and the company's and government officials claiming they are trying to keep up safe, are not prosecuted by keeping those legal. I would get muted, and have no media coverage, but anyone in the room, might start to think less like a sheep, and more like a wolf... Job done.

Another FACT : Drug's are priority number one for police, they do not have any incentive for solving murders and rapes, yet they can take your house, your car, and get funded extensively with every "drug arrest" they make, and for what? Lol...

It doesn't matter anyways, The economy will eventually lead almost everyone to deal drugs to try and survive, and do them to get by mentally... It's not going to stop, The gov is the one that's on drugs, thinking they can stop it.

There is no one who can truely be trusted. In today's society, it's every man for himself. Anyone who thinks that another human being wouldn't gladly throw you under the bus to save themselves when shit gets real, is sadly mistaken. There is not a person alive who doesn't tell lies on a daily basis. Everyone is too concerned with their social status and reputation to ever let the real truth about themselves get out. Just my $0.02
 
Unfortunately, there is no such thing as karma. If karma existed, how can you explain the world we live in? It has been my experience that it is always best to deal with intimate friends or those that have "skin in the game" so to speak. Why would I have black market business with someone that can't maintain a legitimate life? They have nothing and nobody to loose.
 
Karma doesn't work in the way you think it does. Think about newtons law of motion... for every action, there is a opposite and equal reaction. There's no such thing as good or bad... which is what most people think karma is about.
 
I understand what you are saying but I do not see how karma is the same or equivalent to causality or the physical laws of motion. My understanding of karma is that it is a sort of cosmic justice, which I do not see in the world.

How true and with the lack of religion, humans get worse everyday.
Personally I don't lie, cheat or steal to get by.
The truth still means a lot to people be it personal or business.
Why I only buy pot from the Amish :lol:

Do you think religion would lead a man who would otherwise believe "every man for himself", to put his fellow man first?

More importantly, do you believe such a justification would be warranted? By that I mean even if it were false, would it be right if it led the man to do what he perceived to be the right thing in that moment?

Also, would "what is right" be justified (assuming everything is honest) because the man did what he was best able to discern what was right in that moment?


Even to me this explanation seems somewhat convoluted (drunk, sorry..), so ask me for clarification if you have trouble understanding what I'm asking..

That's the idea to help one another.

I spent much time living on the streets but always kept my morals in check for my own fate and peace of mind, but with that said it is all about sink or swim when it comes to this world !
