The model for the US bankruptcy.

I know a few of you believe, as I do, that the US is on the road to collapse. The plan about to be unveiled in Detroit is to pay pensioners $.25 on the dollar, and bond holders $.22. I cannot begin to state how sad, and horrible this is for the country's old, who have paid in and expect a pension. SS is screwed, and we will not receive the money we have paid in, if we even make it to 70. How Detroit got $18 BILLION behind is unfathomable. I know many other cities (and states, eh CA?) are right behind.

What re your plans, thoughts? I;d love to hear from those who think the US will continue to prosper. Please, no partisan BS. The country was bought by corporations decades ago. It's simply a money grab now because true wealth knows what's coming.

I was just taking to 2 ppl that revived a $5000.00 refund on there tax's, that's all fine and dandy... but there on welfair!!?? I need to know how in the hell ya get a refund on money you don't work for? I'm afraid to file cuz i just know that money is also coming out of my pockets, n ppl wonder how sh*t is messed up??....But yeah The D' is all run by greedy bastards! all the way from back in the day, mayor young, and that huge ape f"er Kwame" n his niggas just put that city to shame..SMFH..n now Wayne county is going to follow do to that whap a**hole. However, the D' is already pickin back up cuz y'all got smart and had a white mo fo run that sh*t...UGG I need to go burn one...

The u.s.a is crashing we will all be suffering etc. Were in a non winning era in life. Everyone needs to become together to make a change for the best and protect us as a whole

I with you man. Regrettably, I'm a massive hypocrite aswell. Have worked for one of the largest banks in the UK for the last 7yrs. I see first hand the practices in place to accumulate more funds from the poor and middle class. Everyone knows investment is a shady business but retail is just as murky.

The Koran, bible, founding fathers all talk about interest being "evil" a sentiment I agree with.

Yeah, for sure. An ex Bank of America exec came out recently and admitted they planned in the board room to shut down branches in middle class neighborhoods to save money and maintained, or opened them in poor neighborhoods becaue they make a killing off them in late fees, overdraft fees, and low balance charges, etc. "They" say corporations are not people, but they are certainly run by them. Disgraceful. I wish everyone would pull all of their BofA accounts and cripple them to send a message to all.
