This is my first grow and would like some help, are these both girls? I vegged them under cfl's for about 6 weeks, got my 600w hps and I'm noticing huge change in growth.

Both seem to be female but I had this incident at a bar once where they ended up not being females, strange

It's a girl, congratulations!
Also congrats on the new light. You'll notice lots of stretch the first few weeks of flower too. Completely normal.

Thanks Kinetic! The new light is awesome...many more new toys to shop for. I feel like a kid with this new hobby.

What else are you looking at getting? I recommend fabric pots to my friends.

I have room for 2-3 more lights, vent system with carbon filter. I dream big

I have them in 5 gallon depot buckets with drilled drains. Is fabric better for yield?

fabric pots eliminate root spinning. Better root mass better leaf mass.
