Actually, I'm a fond fan of MG Organic Choice.... it is designed for outdoor use in the ground to amend your current soil.... I highly recommend it. I've had great success.... just have some lime around to settle the PH once the nutrients in the soil start to wear off.

how much do i mix in of each? and should i use vermiculite or perlite?
I've done this too with good results. 1/3 peat moss, 1/3 vermeculite, 1/3 perlite. A manure would help for the younger stages before nutes. This mix won't give much nutritional value to the little ladies so you may need to supplement nutes a little earlier (in lower doese of course) and it drains very well.

Manure tends to come loaded with weed seed, and i don't think a mix with 2/3's lightweight materials like perlite and Vermiculite are ideal for outdoors.
