Dept Store Nutes

I recommend some Dept store nutes for veg and flower. In my 5th week of flowering and pleased with both simplicity and results. Simply adjust ppm of nutes, then pH, and serve clean room temp oxygenated water. I'm learning these beautiful sensitive plants are extremely forgiving supplied the correct environment.

Maybe I will be disappointed by potency later at harvest, but I see no need for extensive weekly regimes with special flushes and such from the commercial vendors. They are not available where I am. My plants are extremely healthy, all germinated as females in this multi-strain grow. They thrive. Will post more including smoke report if there is interest.

400w MH veg 6-10 weeks, now 5th week flowering 1000w HPS with 400w MH.

So what are you growing in and what are you using? You are not telling anyone anything new really. If you are in soil yes, about any high urea N food will work because the soil can process it (usually). In hydro it's another story, so if we make comments such as yours we need to be a bit more specific. nice plants by the way.

Growing in what appears to be organic material high peat content, very little nutrient value, mixed with rice husks to improve drainage, (but drainage sucks anyways). Vermiculite and such does not exist here. A cheap commercial fert is used, (high nitrogen, low K/P), was used to veg. The same brand name fert in low N, higher K/P is being used to flower. Max ppm 1000 in 5 gal containers. pH adjusted with sodium bicarbonate.

The names of the ferts would mean nothing to anyone, nor even the name of the store where I bought it. Internet purchases are not possible here, and the seeds needed to be transported covertly without packaging so I don't know the exact grow makeup. It includes mixed sativa/indica strains from the phenotypes shown, one clear sativa and one Kush. These latter two are the photos.

I do have the order history for the seeds, but can only make guesses with the freebies and all.

Obviously for hydroponics, nutrient concentration and compostion is critical. I am just making the simple point that you can have a decent grow, very low tech, and not fret over expensive nutes and flushes. Hence the name for this thread, Dept Store Nutes.

Anyone care to take a stab a identification?

o0k I guess. I just thought that if you are endorsing a nute or some nutes as you state, you would give some hint as to what you are endorsing. So I guess you are endorsing "Dept store nutes" meaning any nute I find in the department store? Are you afraid to say Miracle Grow? LOL. I know what UR driving at. However, if those piks are the product of a 6 to 10 week veg, your nutes, whatever they are , are not in the least impressive IMO, especially with the lights you're using. The health is excellent , but the volume is not. Just my opinion sir. They are nonetheless nice plants.

Shit, if they had Miracle Grow here, I would be set! I was lucky to find any ferts at all. For some reason people here are more interest in daily substence.

Biggest plants seeded just after Christmas, smallest a month later. The judgement you are making on how full the plants are is based on one photo, taken with an extremely wide angle lens (15mm) from above. Lots of plants are included in the photo, but gives the illusion of smaller more compact plants. The older plants are 5 feet tall. You observations are partially the effect of photographic distortion with a wide angle lens.

Thanks for the input.

OK my bad, I did say they were healthy buggers and I'm sure they will smoke well. Happy growing.
