I've used Wal Mart's line of solubles (Plant sMart) 20-20-20 & 15-30-15, for all my grows and my vegetable garden too.Just go real easy with them like a level teaspoon per gallon water indoors, outdoors you can go higher.
I use Alaska brand Mor Bloom 0-10-10 to finish of my grow to fatten the buds. I bought that at Rona but a lot of other stores sell it too. Rona sells the excellent line of Plant Prod solubles and I use their 15-15-30 for flowering.

I did a reverse thread about growing mediums and tomatos https://www.rollitup.org/gardening/154138-ff-vs-mg-vs-coco.html Clear cut results with pics that mediums used for marijuana dont make good mediums for tomatos.

I follow that theory up with nutes made for tomatos or african violets dont make the best nutes for marijuana. I didnt make a thread about that simply because it takes too long and I dont want to waste good seeds or clones.

The last time I grew with commercial veg nutes, my weed had a funny taste to it but it did work...I dont think it works as well though.

I would stick to nutes made for cannabis (if thats what you are growing) and I would stick to nutes made for tomatos when you are growing tomatos.

No hate out there on my part. Feel free to use MG, CFL's and commercial nutes. Just know that you are getting inferior results compared to other means.
