So I'm from Illinois, and have only been to Colorado once. Well, I just got a hotel booked for April 18-21 in Colorado Springs. Getting the tickets tomorrow for the Cannabis Cup. Should be a blast, as I have never been to anything like that. Also was wondering how the laws work? I know its 21 and what not, but how much can I get concentrate wise being out of state? And how much concentrates are, and what are some good places to go to?Annnnnd wondering if anybody was going to it as well, and what I should expect, etc?:-o:-P

7 grams per rec center per day. Any part of plant. Resin, clone (if mmc chooses to sell them) ..

Hit as many centers's as you want each day for 7 grams each. Prices will suck ass.

anyone else going from out of state?

im considering it but am thinking it is going to be way to crowded
this 420, I can imagine the lines and prices will be insane.

im thinking about going a couple days after all the madness ends

What? You have actual Drug checkpoints? Not just sobriety check points? That's a blatant violation of the 4th amendment.

Q: Are drug checkpoints legal?
A: No. Drug checkpoints are a trap! The Supreme Court has ruled that random checkpoints for the purpose of finding illegal drugs are unconstitutional. However, police sometimes put up signs warning drivers of up-coming drug checkpoints and instead pull over people who make illegal u-turns or discard contraband out the window. If you see a sign saying “Drug Checkpoint Ahead”, just keep driving and don’t panic. If there’s a rest area following the sign, DO NOT pull into it. If you do, you’ll find yourself surrounded by drug-sniffing dogs.

One of the nice things about CO is that increases in funding for police are voted on by the voters. Needless to say they don't get increases very often. I might see one sheriff or something every 3 days.

Yeper I mean call it what you like..if customs is searching every car passing through its a checkpoint in my eyes
I have seen sobriety checkpoints a few times in Austin but we don't really have those.. there are several checkpoints in tx that are consistent
one of the ones I really hate is when you try to exit padre..of course the checkpoint is hidden from those entering!

But so there definitely isn't one exiting Colorado? Of any type...

Yikes, we really are in a police state. When I lived in Tucson there were cops and sheriff's EVERYWHERE. Not so much here in CO, at least not yet!

Its not the co sheriffs you have to worry about. Nebraska police will definately mess with people. Especially if you have dreads and look like a pot head. I know from experience. They will say you were tailgating and then the Fun starts. I have an apt. On golden CO and a home in PA october 1st i was driving back east once was in nebraska 5 minutes and was pulled over. Long story short took 2 hrs of dogs and bs to find nothing and let us go without so much as a sorry. They did give us a tailgating ticket for the imaginary offense. And this was before rec took affect. So yeah driving home Keep cool!
