anything from Big Buddha seeds will have some real nice sized buds - i personally am about to start a grow with Big Buddha's Blue Cheese - its mostly indica, so a short bushy plant with lots of nug-arificness, but the sativa aspect of the blueberry it was crossed with is supposedly very prominent in the high

so here's the question that i'm having in reading this thread - do you think that it's all about genetics or are nutes really going to help out a grow?

i mean, it makes sense that the nutes would help something grow better, but it also makes sense that having the best genetics would also make a diffference...

or maybe this is something that might be better to put on a new thread? seems like this is a discussion that's sort of happening anyways...

:weed: whatcha think?

well okay a good environement and the right nutes will give you awesome product where other people would get okay product but good genetics helps the equation because certain genetics will only go so far and depending onthe yields and highs there are many factors to the equation lol

well obviously both things have a huge effect on the outcome of your plant, but put it this way: when grown as can be considered healthily (not 120% fucking perfect, u no) the genetics make ALL the difference -both in structure and yield f the strain. No matter what, helpers like nutes will be good, but that is more of a dependent factor (think the y axis in algebra) where as the genetics of the strain is more of an independent factor (think x axis -time, space)
so basically, its almost equally important when lookin for a real quality grow, but u can definitely grow a good strain in good soil without a strict nutrient regimen - if ur growin outdoor, i wouldnt worry about nutes on the first grow depending on where u are, but indoor, it'd probly be worth it
good luck

Genetics are the most important part of startin a grow man. You can have the best sealed environment and highest quality nutes with the skills of everybody on RIU put together! All that wont matter if your growin from bag seed you found in some ditch weed. No matter what your results are gonna be crap, it might be better than the crap it came from but no amount of care can make bad genetics turn out good.
Great genetics can be grown out using miracle grow and they wont be to their potential but theyll still turn out damn good!
Id seriously consider Agent Orange, there aint too many strains that are elite quality and produce really well. Not to mention fairly stable and easy ta grow! Findin a keeper in a 10 pack is a givin from what Ive seen and thats important! Especially with all the pollen chuckers throwin together all the schotty, cookie cutter genetics that plague our industry these days!
You can order a strain thats a cup winner and not get a decent pheno outta 10 beans! Quality genetics are an endangered species these days folks.

my AO is about to come in im like itching MAN ITCHING!
Unnk I cant wait ta get my order in man, I been gettin lucky with my gear lately. Last order of 6 Chocolopes got me a one in a million pheno that DNA doesnt even have! 7-8 week 90% sativa that doesnt stretch in flowering! It doesnt even make sense but I flowered the first group of cuts at 12 inches tall and now theyre only 16 inches in week six with milky trichs!
But AO is definitely on my list, that and JTR and that damn querkle! Holy Shit! Have yall seen the pics in the querkle thread in Subcools organics forum???? WOW!
