my roommates have a dehydrater for their damn hippy food, and being the impatient potheads we are we were wondering if i could toss a couple buds in there come harvest time to speed the process, although it seems very possible that this act would bethe opposite of what i'd like to accomplish by curing. anyone ever do it? have advice?

you could use it on a couple buds after harvest for a quick dry so you have smoke right away but this will create a harsh and possibly bad tasting smoke. the reason for a slow dry and cure is to give it time to dry evenly and to get the most thc. i would dry it the regular way of hanging it uo and then a 2 week cure for best results

If it has a temp control, drop it all the way down. (mine only goes down to 85F). Or just disconnect the heater part and only use the fan in it.

(but for a quick dry, I'll just put on top an Areogarden hood. Dries up pretty quick.
