Dehumidifying using Silica gel

I'm growing in a hot and humid climate and I'm worried of the fungi coming with high humidity and temperatures I'm having. So my humidity is around 65-70 which is high even though I'm in vegetative stage. So I'm planning to buy a dehumidifier but not spend so much money. Since I have a 2*2*4 grow box and growing only 2 inside I don't need also a big one.
Does anyone have any idea if the silica gel packs which can be recharged in the microwave is a good option for my small growbox? Does it have any harm to the plants and anyone has other ideas?

Any help is appreciated!

As long as you have proper air replacement you're usually ok.. In that space it wont take much, but you gotta get the air swapped out. Good luck!

.. to answer the question.. no they wont really have much effect on rh
